Every sign has a level
How serious is it?
Each sign has a level so you know whether it can wait or needs a call today.
This spreads or does harm quickly. The sooner a pro sees it, the smaller the job.
It won't fix itself. Get it looked at soon.
Usually manageable, but call if it keeps coming back.

FAQ
Common questions
What is PestGuard?
A pest ID and referral service. Use the pages to figure out what you're seeing, then call and we'll connect you with an independent pest control company that serves your area. We don't do the pest work ourselves.
Is there a charge to call?
No. PestGuard doesn't charge homeowners. You agree any work and terms directly with the pest control company.
Can you identify a bug for me?
Start with the signs on this site. If you're still not sure, call and describe it. The pest pro you're connected with can confirm it, often from a photo.
Do you help with raccoons, squirrels or other wildlife?
No. PestGuard covers insects, spiders, scorpions, mice and rats. Larger animals need a wildlife removal service, which we don't connect.
Are the photos of real pests?
Yes. They're real photographs from Pexels used to help you compare. They don't show a specific company or job.
