How to tell
- Bugs or spots on luggage seams or folded clothes.
- Bites starting a few days to two weeks after you get home.
- A hotel bed with dark spots on the mattress tag or seams.
Do this now
- Unpack in the garage or bathroom, not the bedroom.
- Dry all clothes on high heat for 30 minutes, even clean ones.
- Vacuum and inspect the suitcase; store it outside the bedroom.
Avoid
- Don't put luggage on the bed.
